The ‘plumbers’ have been hard at
work at Doctors Hospital. We are talking about
the cardiologists and cardiac surgeons who have
been busy treating heart failure, performing
cardiac bypass operations and opening clogged
coronary arteries using stents and angioplasty
techniques.
They
are now joined by a long overdue ‘electrician’.
Dr Rehan Mahmud a cardiac electrophysiologist
has moved his residence from USA to Lahore and
joined his colleagues at Doctors Hospital. An
experienced cardiac electrophysiologist, Dr
Rehan Mahmud is American Board Certified in
Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology.
“I was interested in the field of heart
rhythm physiology when it was in its infancy
and primarily limited to university and research
centers”. His began his formal training
in University of Wisconsin in 1983.
