Within a short span of time Doctors Hospital has become
one of the most modern and busiest Cardiac centers
in Pakistan. World class Cardiologists and Surgeons
remain active round the clock. During the year 2003
they performed around 2,700 procedures including 500
angioplasties, 337 stents, 30 valvuloplasties and
30 redo procedures.
In addition to that several hundreds bypass surgeries
were performed with excellent success rate that is
matching with the international standards. Financial
help is provided to needy persons from Zakat or patient
welfare fund. Two of the five operations theaters
are dedicated to Cardiac surgeries, from where they
are shifted to Cardiac Intensive Care Units that are
fully equipped with state of the art equipment including
individual ventilator and monitor for every patient.
